      YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS............ There was no Shuttle ( piston ) in the PDWA !!! Could I buy this on its own?

        I found a kit that included a new shuttle, but it was in USA.. Moss part#181-985, maybe you can find in UK

        Also.. that chromed PDWA.. did they bother to protect the internal bore from the chroming process?? if not then it may have some crappy chrome residue in there which will interfere with seals.

          Actually the chrome was done really good its nice and smooth inside. The so called mechanic who done this car was utterly useless. There were a lot of components missing, bolts missing or not tightened etc etc.

            Cannot find the piston anywhere...looks like I will have to buy the PDWA.

              Someone makes the kits with pistons, they are even on eBay over here. otherwise get a used one and pull the piston for yours

                      if the O rings are old, the piston usually pops out with a few taps on a bench. Else it can be a pain. Some people use a grease gun.
