    Indicators

Hi, I have been busy wiring up the front and back lights. Found several faults and fixed them...... really happy with that, used a multimeter which I am getting used to. The multimeter as you know is a fantastic tool!
Tomorrow I have to fix the indicators. I could do with a head start.
When I flick the indicators on they are on all the time......all four except the front side ones. When I switch them off and put the hazards on, all four work.....they work as they should on and off at least with a seconds interval more or less but not the front sides. I cannot hear the indicator tick tock either.
Jbuckle suggested the flasher unit might be faulty......whats your opinion please.
    I would appreciate your expertise.

Sounds to me like the flasher contacts are burnt in the closed position (on) Wattage needs to be correct in all 6 indicator lamps too.
modern flasher may help, but requires a new earth connection usually.
Iirc the hazard is working because it’s a separate flasher unit. (However that ‘indicates’ !!!! That the wattages are correct)

If you have changed to led's you need to add a resistor to each side of the indicator circuit or fit a suitable flasher
