    Door Finishers

The parts list and Haynes manual both describe a 'Door Finisher' which is held on with 2 rivets. I don't think later cars were fitted with these but I think they were to tidy up the rather messy area around junction of the lock end of the door and the window frame.

Does anyone have a photo of the door finisher fitted? as I would like to try fabricating something similar in my workshop to clean up this area.
    thanks Alan

Ignore this post as another search has shown a pic of the finisher - tried to delete post but can't!

Tony White may have a pair of these. They are pretty rare items though.

Good German engineering by Klaus, complete with pattern to follow. Nothing wrong with the original idea but removed because Triumph beancounters could save 50p per car!
