    Lumps bumps and scoops

As "project Black" (hee hee) is back on track I am faced with an insurmountable problem.
That of having to put a bulge, scoop or the like in my flawless bonnet!

Try as I might I cannot find a blow thru carb bonnet low enough to allow me the clearance, so my question is...... can any one give suggestions as to who can provide or do such bodywork?

Open to sssssugestions at present, as I have blown the budget several times over will probably end up diy,,ing.

    yourssssssss sssssssnakey!

    Hi Snakey

Theres a yellow Stag with a Cosworth engine in it featured in this months TSSC Courier magazine. Its got the middle of a Spitfire (Car not plane) bonnet grafted on the Stag bonnet its the best one ive seen

    Phil

Don't know anyone who could do it though sorry

probably is then! the early spits did have a more bulberous bonnet if i recall, i often thought a rover v* bulge would be good with gt6 bonnet frofile.

Bought another one off fleebay as could not face cutting up original. Once you start cutting into the bonnet it looses alot of rigitity and was a right pain to get straight again ended up welding a sort of space frame to the unde neath as it kept biscuit tinning depends how big a hole you need

              good luck !

I might need a bit of of bulge when I fit my EFI assembly.
In case I do I have a spare bonnet to do the cutting.
For me it has to be Aston style, but how to achieve I don't know!

I think ford capri bonnet bulges have been used in the past as well.
