Jaguar XJS front seats

Hi Folks,
When I bought my Stag restoration project some years ago I inherited a pair of Jaguar XJS front seats which the vendor told me would fit my MK1 stag. Will they fit or will I require to carry out some modifications.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Any seat runners can be adapted to fit with a bit of imagination and welding. It's all down to personal choise

When I fitted my recaros many years ago, I used the original runners, I then purchased some angle and straight brackets from B & Q, all of which cost me about £ 5.-7.
Fitted the brackets to the Recaros, then fitted the brackets to the runners.
Worked a treat, still going strong. Good thing was the brackets had holes in them so I could pick the height of the seat to suit myself.
The brackets looked something similar to these, some of which were thin so I doubled them up, you cannot see them once fitted.

Why not fit stag seats. Loads available for refurb.

Hi malc4d, I have stag seats fitted to the car, mk1, therefore no headrest, and given that I had the xjs seats available I thought I would fit them and see how they looked.
