    Aerial and Stereo

Hi, I am about to reseach which stereo to fit, basically I just want a Radio and CD player with bluetooth. It should have a good speaker set up i.e heavy bassline mid and tweets...( I listen to a lot of Reggae ). I don't fancy cutting into anything to fit the speakers. Also, have any of you guys got an aerial that does not fit onto the car, I do not want to drill a hole in the bodywork to fit one. Is there an aerial that can be stashed away in the boot or car?

Lastly a reasonably priced set up. Your views will be much appreciated. It will save me time and I believe a lot lf you are ' in the know ' aboit such matters, I have read old posts of some of the fantastic setups you have.

I have an 8" version of this sitting below the soft top behind the back seat. its powered. Im sure you can find equivalents in UK. For the front I have a retro sound speaker. I find I could only anchor the retro sound speaker in with two points. This speaker by itself is very lame but works.

No holes anywhere and combined sound is fine as long as your drive below 60, else you hear wind noise.

Surjit.... I have this bassbin below in my Red Stag, its 10" only 250W RMS, the sound is drowned out because its in the boot, but the one you have and below the softop looks like I might go for it.
I also may fit in mids and tweeters on the 'B' post and speakers under the dash. I am after a stereo that will fit cosily into the console. All I need is an onboard inside aerial if there is such a thing available.....

        Thanks for replying as always.

          I prefer an 8 track... Pistons 1 to 8.

I have a DAB radio and hence a DAB aerial.
The DAB aerial just sticks to the inside of the windscreen.
I have it positioned on the passenger side.
It need a power supply e.g. 12v feed.
Note that if you want to receive AM/FM channels (non-DAB) then you also need a FM aerial.
It works well even inside the garage,
My Caliber Radio shipped with a DAB aerial and connects to a speaker on top of the dash.

It is OK, but not exactly hi-fi.
            Regards,
            Den

Similar to the DAB antenna (aerial) but brings in AM and FM
