The rebuild after painting is under way.

Engine and gear box should be back in by the weekend and first drive should be the the first week of March, all new seals for the hard top arrived today as did the final parts of the classic car led set, new carpet set due, as is black coachline for the flanks, t o quote BR "getting there".

I see Posche must have seen my paint job given they have tried to copy on the Taycan below

Very smart (the Stag not the Porsche). GDR is a Plymouth registration, but you probably know that.....

DJT I have just got the BMIHT certificate on Saturday so I now know it is indeed a Plymouth reg, I wasn't aware before, the dealer it was despatched to was Evans & Cartler ltd, Plymouth on the 3rd October 1974.

Evans and Cutler have been trading since 1946 - http://www.evansandcutler.co.uk/abou...onford-totnes/ - I do not know where the Evans & Cartler came from. I am guessing it is a typo. The Stag shown on their About Us page often turns out at our local meets.
