    Mud flaps

Hi, Can anyone recommend where I can get good quality mud flaps from, preferably with the Stag logo.

I did read somewhere that some mud flaps had there logos wear out very quickly. Anyone recently purchased some? which supplier?.

    Thanks, Sukh.

I bought a set from paddocks 18 months ago but despite them coming with fitting clamps I cannot see how they would fit properly without drilling and screw fixing them so still havn't put them on. I cant bring myself to drill holes in the arches and risk the dreaded rust setting in.

        Snap!

Brought some from paddocks last March still haven't fitted because don't want to drill into arches.

The old ones that were fitted usedU shaped clamps and bolts so no drilling required.

Unfortunately old fittings no longer serviceable and some missing.

I got mine from paddocks a few years ago, I hadto drill the arches which was no problem, but the quality of the logo is very poor after five years of road wear and washing they are almost plain black. I would prefer to have the original triumph logo mad flaps - but who sells these?

I used those clamps too and they seem to be OK.

Word of warning though - I bought the flaps from Paddocks and they stuck them together with brown packing tape that stuck like superglue to the flaps - had to use thinners to remove the residue which also removed half of the Stag logo! Had to touch up with paint.

If it does fade, as I'm sure it will,I might remove and stick on some Stag badges.

Nuts to the 'Stag' motif. If people can't tell what car is in front of them from the shape of the car and thesound of the exhaust, they aren't interested.

I have had these on my Stag for the past two years, and a set on my previous Stag for about 10 years. Available from Halfords, they are a heavy, flexible rubber secured with plastic clamps, so no metal to spoil the paintwork.

                  Excellent value.

Do you have those flaps fitted to the front and rear arches?

                    Cheers

Hi Bruce. Rear only. Not bothered with the front.

                        Hi Dave

Are the front ones not more benefical in preventing muck going down the cills & doors? Just curious.

                        Cheers
