Sorry to hear the bad news Martin. Not many positives, but if nobody's hurt, and you get some new bits on the car without it costing you, I suppose it might ease the pain.

I bumped into the back of someone with a Peugeot estate in my Navara a couple of years ago.
The claim ended up at £7800 after all the compensation for whiplash and backaches to the two occupants:X:X
I only went into them at about 10mph:X

If someone went into the back of me now, I would try for anything I could.

Martin ,try to get a whole bumper out of them,the new centre section would look wrong with the original side bits,and a whos to say the brackets and fittings for the side bits may be bent and trying to fit a new centre may be loads of grief..........I say let the buggers pay! And then that won't match the front bumper, so try and get that out of them too, oh and don't forget all the rest of the chrome on the car will probably be the wrong shade of chrome.

New chrome won't look as good against white paintwork, so a respray in the correct colour of black would look so much better, don't know if they would fall for that one though, could be pushing it a bit.:P
