    Window rocker switch

I have mk11 that needs a new window switch. My switch has spade connectors and all the replacements have pole type connectors?

Paddocks suggested that perhaps I have an adaptor kit that was available years ago that had a mini harness that allowed Range Rover window switches to be used?

Can you remove the wooden cover and see if the original connector is there. Then contact Tony White for a switch

I have pulled the loom out further which shows the old torpedo connectors which I have uploaded a photo of

Am I right in thinking that those connectors are originals and I need some sort of connecting block which goes on the correct window lifting switch. I assume mine is missing?

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction

The correct window switch fits directly into that block.

The window switch comes apart so try cleaning the contacts first
also does anyone know the direction they should work ie forward up backwards down as mine always seam back to front to me

This is the back of an original switch.

Mine have always been forward up, backwards down. But there is no reason they cannot be rotated if you prefer.

I have tried cleaning the contacts and still have a clicking solenoid under the passanger foot well!

Looks like I need a black connector from existing harness to a torpedo block to fit the back of the window switch?

Anyone have a pic of the part I need handy?

As per #4 you already have the part you need to fit an original type switch. The wires with the spade connectors on need to be pulled out of the black connector socket shown in your second photo, and the switch should then plug straight into the black socket.
