Do I need to retighten the heads or leave well alone. ?

Retorque after 1st run, then retorque again after a few runs. I think this is very important to make the gaskets last.

Yep, have had some that needed a few checks before they settled to a consistent torque.
best checked cold.

I recommend checking head stud and bolt torque annually- more frequently in the first year. Same with inlet manifold.
