    Wiring Diagrams

Hi All - can anyone help me with a printable copy of the wiring diagram for a 1975 Mk 2 Stag for a) the hazard warning lights switch and circuit and b) the fasten seatbelt wiring and circuit. Any help much appreciated. All the best.

Hi Johnty and welcome aboard sir

Check Grampian Stag website here http://grampianstags.net/wiring.htm for wiring diagrams

The Haynes manual and ROM have excellent wiring diagrams for all flavours of stag. What is the issue that you are trying to fix?

Thanks Richard will check it out. Brought the car 5 months ago, it’s got some issues with the wiring not working probably due to age. The hazard warning switch doesn’t appear to work so I need to check out the wiring first before replacing the switch. Same issue with the fasten seatbelt light.

Good luck with the Safety Belt light Johnty.

Do many people have a working one?

Having had a look (but I could be "man-looking") I don't think the Grampian Stags wiring diagrams show either the hazards or seat belt warning light wiring. In fact, I can't recall ever seeing a diagram that covers these?
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

            3 quick checks…
1:- the flasher unit on a mk2 needs to be in its clip above the column in order to work.
2:- the seat pressure pad connector under the carpet needs to be connected…. Often overlooked.
3:- the seat belt catches must have the wiring for the warning lamp to work properly…. Often swapped for un switched items.

Here's the info for the hazards - pretty sure I downloaded this from Grampian Stags' website.

My swatbelt warning light works, I only have the seat belt wired up as I have different seats, the pressure switch wires are just loose

Can you still buy seatbelt floor connectors with switches?
