EJ Wards, good or bad delivery times

Gent's ordered up and paid for the restoration DVD in the begining to middle oflast week,fully expecting it to arrive on Thursday or Friday. Unfortunately it has never arrived. Postman now past again and no sign of the DVD

Also asked for a quote for various floor panel sections but never recieved a reply

Eventually phoned Paddocks and recieved all my panels on Thursday afternoon, approx 24 hrs later

Just wondering if this is the norm from this company.

I havn't had a problem with delivery times from Wards for items in stock..... have you contacted them to ask ?

Tried to but there web site say's they are now on holiday until Tuesday.

So looks like my Easter weekend workscope must now go on hold until I get a butchers at the DVD

i for one was dissappointed with their online ordering service ,i ordered a starter relay kit ,i waited a week for it .something that small, paddocks or ld parts,you would recieve it the next day !!!

I think to keep a balanced and fairview,we should acknowlege the quality of their starter relay kit. The terminals and connectors used, and theworkamanship were the best I have seen. I have heard that much of their other work is also very good?

I ordered their headlamp relay kit a few weeks ago. Delivery was a few days behind an order I put in to Ldparts at the same time (that arrived next day). But I can't fault the quality of the kit. Well put together. All wires the correct colour, well insulated,and the instructions simple to follow (even for an electrical numpty like me!). If I was being really critical, the brown supply wires were a bit long, but better that than short. I just looped the excess out of the way behind the headlights and secured with ty-wraps.

I had some window felts from them and they fitted perfectly, without trimming any parts and the window slid lovely also. Didn't happen with ather suppliers I'm afraid to say.

Gent's I'm not knocking the quality of their parts, all I'm asking for was if they are slow to deliver items, it's just that I would have thought that such a small item would have come in the post 1 or 2 days later. I paid first class delivery for it, and paid for it by Visa. So my end of the bargain has been fullfilled as far as I'm concerned.

Or maybe it's been lost in the post. Anyway will not find out now until Tuesday the 6th.

Only used EJ Wards once. Several days after placing the on-line order it had failed to turn up so I phoned them to be informed that several of the items were out of stock and they were holding back the entire order until such time as they could supply it all. Grrr:X

When it finally did turn up it was still incomplete despite the paperwork claiming it was!:X After another conversation was informed that the final fews bits were in the post.

When I came to use the parts I discovered they had supplied me with the wrong size circlips for the differential front nose extentsion bearing.:X

Not used them since. Paddocks rate far higher in my book. LD Parts good on the occasions I have used them.

Ihave used LD Parts a few time and even ordered a set of water hoses at 3pm one afternoon and Peter still got them to me for the next day

I am yet to use EJ Ward but will try them for the window felts that were mentioned earlier as i my drivers window dosent have any !!!!
