Thanks Jonno, I've used Classic Car Leds for all my interior and exterior leds except the headlights and am very pleased with them. Their H1 headlight leds are too long to fit in the head light bowls and I don't want to start cutting holes in them.
I think I'll keep it simple and go with the Osrams.

      M,

Simple Plug & Play Triumph Stag Interior, Exterior and Headlight LED Bulbs upgrade Kits. Dramatically reduces load and increases visibility

Think that's generally the case. If I fit the headlights, I'll get hold of some spare bowls to fit my general philosophy that my car can easily be returned to standard should a future owner (FO?) wish. I actually bought 2 x quality LED H4 replacements a few years ago but don't do enough night driving (~10 hrs/yr) to warrant the faffing around. The Night-Breakers make it good enough for me ..
White 1976 build ("Mk2") only a few mods

I would hazard a guess that this is more than many Stag owners achieve, yet this rush to fit LED headlights (often looking for the cheapest options which can be dangerous) you would think that all owners were doing night stage rallies in the Welsh forests every night. The standard headlights, if in good condition, are more than adequate for 99% of driving.

It's not just rallying that needs good headlights, around here in Herefordshire it is wild boars, deer and pedestrians wearing black on the almost pavementless county roads that present a real hazard an hour after dark.

I use NightBreakers in all four headlamps with relays for normal driving. They are perfectly adequate, I use my car a lot in the winter and almost never on motorways, I find it's nearly as fast and a lot more relaxing to use the A roads. I have tried LEDs but wasn't impressed with the beam pattern.
If I'm doing night stages in Wales (or any other country) I fit the Cibié Oscars to the front if regs permit - although one of the historic rally clubs doesn't allow more than four forward-facing lamps.

Same here in Devon. Normal Halogen headlights are good enough, if in good condition (and it is easy to make sure they are). If not, you are driving too fast for the road and/or conditions.
