Can’t see from photo if it’s a proximity tag or jack plug receptacle. You could follow the wires to find the alarm control box which may give you the makers details, it’s likely that they no longer support it or are no longer trading.

It's a receptical for the dongle on the keychain. Have now identified it as a sterling or cobra immobiliser.
