Just gone out today with the wife for a run to the garden center about 25 miles from home, all went well car performed brilliantly, purchased said goods wife very happy until I try to start the Stag, no good will not fire up tried for 10 minutes then it starts, on the way back it starts to miss fire and then stops. Keep trying to start it but no luck, someone in a Volvo stops to help and sees that no fuel is getting to the filter, so into boot and hit the pump still nothing, so call the AA it takes them 1 hour 50 mins to arrive only to say whats the problem I told them the problem on the phone, still a few bangs with said hammer pump starts to work slowly, so AA man says I will follow you home just in case. I must say that I had 4 people stop to help me 1 Volvo, 1 Triumph TR6, 1 MGB and a Triumph tr4a, it seems everyone out today in the sun. Now got to order a new fuel pump. Happy Easter. Will

Will,why dont you take the end cover off and clean the points,thats all it might be.
