    DOUBLE MOT SUCCESS!

Took my merc sprinter van in for mot on tuesday and passed with no advisories(its nearly 6 years old now)..and because of the easter hols my stag went for mot a week or so early .....and passed also........i suppose it helps when the mot tester also owns a stag!!.........but this success was marred with having to have our 15 year old dog ,Larry, put down earlier this week.......

I feel that animals have feelings and i do believe they miss another animal when it dies,my cat was distraught when his friend drowned in the floods a while back,it was so sad.But well done with the mot,i was given a BMW 525 estate last week and it sailed through the mot,so a bargain then! Good feeling aint it?

Sorry to hear about Larry, my Ruby is having trouble at the moment, she is 12 years old, her back legs are going and she's pooing indoors and in the car without knowing shes doing it. The vet says it's neurological and she will have to be put down soon, it hurts me so much!, she's been such a wonderful dog.

Henry, our Golden retriever will be lost without her as she has always been 'top dog' and although she has given him grief over the years , he loves her dearly as we all do.

I don't think we will get any more dogs as losing them is like losing a family member.

Here's my old Fella, wondering where he is and how he got there. He is 16+ though.

                        Dale

Sorry to hear of your loss. Dogs are a special companion. Our family would not be complet without "Havoc" our Scottish Terrier, or Scottish Terror as our four year old son calls him.

Havoc loves going for a ride in a car as he associates it with going somewhere exciting i.e. the local fields for a walk or the beach.

Since I fitted the seats into the Project Stag a few weeks back he now leaps into it whenever I have it out of the garage. You can see in his face that he is thinking "hurry up and get this thing finished, I want to go for a ride!" The red stag was his favourite car if the rag top was down as he used to sit in the back and put his paws onto the side and lean out of the car whenever we slowed down in traffic.

                            Hi Dale

Really sorry to hear about your dog, it is so hard losing them. Our mutt is about 12 we think, we are not sure as she was a rescue dog. She may be older, but we have no way of telling.

Good news about your MOT, at least your Stag is ready for Sunday. I had to changethe n/s ball joint on mine today ready for my MOT...
