Cross over parts with TR6, TR7 and TR8?

Some of you were kind enough to encourage my last thread and also the work on putting a new front end on my Stag (http://stagownersclub.mywowbb.com/forum1/7005.html) and I have enjoyed that so much I looked at other things while I had it up in the air on my lift, namely the front suspension.

I need new ... track rod ends, lower swivels, bushes etc.

Does any one know if these are the same as TR6,TR7 or TR8 please? The set up looks similar to a TR6 I was working on recently and I'd like to buy from Richard Good (www.goodparts.com) again as he was very helpful with some great bits for that.

While on the subject what about rear suspension cross overs too - is there a list somewhere of commonality?

Thanks and a Happy Easter /Jewish New Year, or Holidays - whatever your disposition.

    HI Paul

Front suspension and bushes are the same as the 2000/2500 MK2 which the Stag was derived from, this is why 2000/2500 Guru Chris Witor is a good source for uprated parts like taper roller top mounts and fast road and race suspension set up

Thanks Stuart - perhaps I should have mentioned that I am in the US. I am sure that Chris Witor supplies good stuff it is just that over here 2000/2500 suppliers are thinner on the ground than corn in Somalia. TR6/7/8 vendors are almost everywhere.

Is the TR6/7/8 crossed over from the 2000/2500 too? BL used the parts bin to such an extreme and I cannot imagine Standard Triumph as independent of BL were much different.

        Paul,

Don't bother to look much into the TR7/8 parts bin for Stag bits. These were totally different.

The TR6 and TR250 have some commonality, mainly in suspension/transmission parts. I suggest you look at the Rimmer Brothers website and compare their drawings and look for common part numbers.
