Pulse width modulation (PWM) for LED instrument illumination

    Hello all

Has anyone have sourced a robust and reliable PWM module, or have any experience they're will to share?

    Cheers

Did use a Audino to control speed of a motor, which could be easily adapted to control the brightness of the lights by PWM. All that really was needed to do it was the Audino CPU and a solid state relay.

I used one of these, https://www.amazon.co.uk/12V-14V-Dim...008TNH68E?th=1, other suppliers available.
Reboxed it so that pot was mechanically connected to original dimmer.

One problem I found with available 'cheapie' ones is that they are positive ground. Perhaps not all are like that? But they are so cheap it's worth experimenting with one or two.
