    Exhaust silencers/intermediate mounting

I'm about to change my exhaust pipes after 20 years and I plan to change the 8 rubber bushes holding the rear exhaust in the center of the rear frame. I used regular rubber before and I haven't had any clunks in the last 20 years. The rubber seems ok, but I'm assuming once disturb the exhaust, they will fall apart. Since they seem to have lasted this long, shall I get another regular set for around 8 quid from LD Parts or go for a ploy set which is 42 from James P?

James Paddock sell these poly bushes for 42.50

However for an additional 5.50 you can get this complete kit.

I asked JP if it was a typo between the two and they said this is the correct.

I'm in California, away from the coast, and rust is not an issue and I really don't need the kit. For 4x the cost I'm thinking of going for regular rubber from LD as he sells good stuff.

I've just done this; The bottom bolt (the one that goes through the exhaust clamp) was rusted into the centre steel insert of the rubber mount so i had to cut the bolt to remove. I looked at the Chris Witor sets but couldn't justify the additional expense. I already had stainless figure 8's plates so I just ended up buying 8 of the two piece rubbers from LD Parts and some new bolts and large washers. I reused everything else

Thanks NickA. I'll go this way.
Terry Thanks. I just looked on the Roadster Factory. I did the math/maths and LD Parts with shipping is cheaper.
