        Just another thought Andrew...

Pull them out and turn them upside down - most are double sided.....

I'm hoping to be moving to a house with a gravel drive! The Stag has ruined my tarmac...... This option allows me to just give it a rake through or throw another shovelful down and loose the stain

Stand well back when you throw a match on it.

Here's one that the "don't try this at home" crowd won't like, without doubt it is hazardous, but then so is crossing the road.

Pour a small amount of petrol on the stain and let it soak in a bit. Throw a lit piece of paper on it and let it burn, the burning fuel will lift the oil from deeper in the block to the surface and it will burn off with the petrol. Repeat a few times to lift as much of the oil as possible, you probably can't lift all the oil but it will lift a reasonable amount of it.
Wash off the residual staining with detergent and power washer.

              John.

Worth a try if you’re not keen on the carpet - LOL!

Edit - that should be 'Astonish' - I was quoting from memory.

Thanks Richard as this is the same company where I was going to get the G101 but this product seems dedicated to doing the job
