Heater Radiator Matrix question

I suspect my heater matrix is leaking and need to take it out and either replace it or get it reconditioned. I have several questions to ask which I'd appreciate anyones guidance on;
1. Can anyone recommend where I might get a replacement?
2. Can anyone in the Wimborne Dorset area recommend a place where I could get it reconditioned?
3. If I decided to 'do away' with it and fit an alternative electrical heater element instead has anyone done this and if they have, what do they recommend in the way of components to
use?

I got mine from Demisterman in Redditch about 10 years ago when I first got my car, and it’s been fine. As I was nearby I got him to swap over the valve and pipes from the original matrix.
