I have always used a long (VW) one as there is plenty of room for it and it has a larger filtration area.

MANN W719/27 is a nice "large", easy to find filter that fits.Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.Comment

I've been using these for a few years now: https://www.eurocarparts.com/search/501590017 although I have just fitted a Unipart one which was kindly given to me by another member as it was surplus to his requirements. Thanks Koy23.
