Each to their own for style but the small block Chevy is a great engine. In it's bog stock form (depending on year) it would have around the same HP as a stag V8 but is very easily and reasonably cheap to modify.
I had one built by a pro shop to 388ci and 450 HP for less than the cost of a Stag V8 rebuild...

I'm no Stag expert at all, my experience comes from modifying older cars...

The rear arch thick stripe is not cut according to the curve of the arch. Cruise lights look new and worth quite a bit nowadays....bumpers look good as well.
Give me a day with the car and the engine and bay will look immaculate.
I think the radiator has a champagne leak near the filler.
What with the carbs setup?
If I had the cash I would have had a look.
