    brake disc /rotors

Has anyone had any issue with standard brake discs / rotors from Rimmers? I'm in USA and their shipping rates to USA is the cheapest. One of my rotors has 0.013 inch of run-out and the ROM calls for no greater than 0.006 in.

Sujit, are you asking about Rimmer disks because you need new ones? Can’t you get the old ones turned? Are they thick enough?

I had them turned at a local auto factor a few years back. I didn't check for run out at the time They are now smooth but have major run out. I'm going to do some experiments make sure they are sitting flat on the hub.

I did some experiments yesterday. The highest and low spot is 180 degrees from each other. I made a mark with a sharpee. I then removed it from the hub and reattached 90 degrees off. I then re messured. The high and low spot is at the same spots on the rotor.
