    Antifreeze

For the last eight I have used XPart antifreeze which is a yellow liquid obtained from Rimmers under part number GC2019. Searching for this product under this part number throws up a completely different product, namely Car Plan Blue Star which as its name suggests is blue. Rimmers say that this is all they can supply. Does anyone know where I can obtain the product I have been using?

No, but this is what I have bought recently: https://www.classic-oils.net/Classic...ue-Anti-Freeze

Xpart is the company that took over spares for MG Rover after the collapse of the main dealer network. If you search for Xpart antifreeze it comes up with a pink OAT5 product. You will need to find out if this is compatible with the yellow stuff you have been using.

I came across Prestone, which claims it will happily mix with any other type, which seems surprising since OAT and non-oat types dont mix. What can it be made of?
