    Brake Servo?

Took the car out yesterday, a few new issues appeared.

I have a slight incline to negotiate to get off my drive. Car had insufficient power and kept stalling when I tried to pull away. Seemed to start and tick over OK
Excessive travel on the brake pedal accompanied by a hissing sound when depressed. Brakes seemed to work OK but required a lot of effort.
Brake pedal travel seemed normal without the engine running but went to the floor as soon as engine started.

Do I have an issue with the brake servo or maybe the vacuum hose?
Any other potential issues that could cause these symptoms?

if you do have an issue with a vacuum leak to the servo it will force the engine to run an excessively weak mixture.

Remove the servo vacuum pipe at the servo and wedge a bolt in the end of the pipe. Does the hiss go away and the engine perform on your driveway incline?

Reconnect the pipe to the servo and if the symptoms reappear then likely that you have an issue within the brake servo
