Nope - the really hard part is remembering, a couple of years later when you actually need it, that you did buy one, and more importantly, where you put it for "safe keeping", lol.

I have a draw for "special tools" which is just for this reason.

That drawer is where I put the second special tool I buy when I forgot I'd already bought one. The initial euphoria on discovering my foresight in naming such a drawer is then dampened by the memory jolt that I already had bought one years ago. Same applies to rare gaskets, special bolts, original NOS switches ... the list is endless...
