Hi all, it was great to finally meet some of you today and put faces to names, thanks to everybody there for the very warm welcome and the opportunity to see your cars and chat. Sorry I had to leave a bit earlier than the rest but my wife suffers with dodgy bones for want of a better explanation and was in a great deal of discomfort. That said I did learn that we need to purchase a couple car colour co-ordinated folding chairs (Her words) to possibly address this issue in the future, look forward to the next time I can make it to another club area meeting.

Good to see you all as well. You will be pleased to know that Trevor no longer permanantly indicates right.... It appears that I wasnt setting the alarm properly, although I did try dismantling the footwell wiring loom in a pub car park down the road beforecoming to that conclusion.

Ian, nice to finally meet you and your wife (sorry forgot her name) did you or anyone take any pictures of today? I took my camera but the battery was flat. 12 stags is not a bad turn out for an early in the year show, a bit cold at times but it did stay dry all day, the sun came out all the way home.

I would just like to state that my roof was down,which is more than can be said for most (Trevor driver)

I had a camera in the car and forgot about it, I wanted the roof down and heater full on but was over ruled, had a great drive home though, sun was bright and I gave the old lady a little bit of welly coming back up the A3 it'll be interesting to see if any leaks have reappeared. Nice to meet Carol & Baxter, Pat is the name your looking for. Next time time you see a large silver Peugeot coupé with PAT *** on the No plate locally at least you'll know who just cut you up.

It was really nice to meet up with everyone and always good to see new faces. We especially enjoyed looking at the shiny clean engine bays (note:my bonnet stayed firmly closed as you all put mine to shame, must get Peter to work on that next )

Good to hear that the "unreliable" Stags all got there and back without having to be taken to bits in the pub car park. (Buick bathtub).

what was amazing was seeing Russ get 5p out of his pocket

nice to see that two stags passed the - balance a 50p on the air filter test, and from cold.

If I hadnt been getting such loud and repeated"encouragement" from all the "unreliable stag" owners, I may have worked it out at the place in a couple of minutes as I did when I got hoime.
