multi electrode spark plugs - gap setting!

    Hi All

I purchased set of multi electrode Champion N9BMC spark plugs from Paddocks for the GT6. Thought they sounded a good idea and the car needed a new set.

Took them out of their boxes today to gap them before fitment. Its the first time I have been a multi electrode plug up close and I am bemused how you are supposed to set the gap or if indeed it is even possible.

    Thoughts, comments, suggestions all welcome

    Thanks

    Bruce

If I remember correctly, they are preset. I use them on My V6 Omega, and they're good for 40,000 miles, but I change them at about 25,000.

      Hi Bruce

I bought the same plugs from Paddocks for my 2.5PI. I put them in straight from the box asI sort of assumed they were gapped correctly (tighten the top fitting) and it has never started or run so well. Impressive!

I have a set as well, only done300 odd miles on them. I have removed them because I now have the flame thrower coil and need to up the gap on them. I think you need a special needle-like feeler gauge to adjust the gap.

Anyone have more info on this"needle-like" gaugeand where one can be acquired
