Tyres

I use Goodyear rain expert 195 70 r14 H tyres - which are H speed rated. Very happy with them, on my second set now (life expired rather than worn out lol).

My rain expert tyres are made by Uniroyal.

As you know my brother brought back my wheels and tyres last week from a tyre fitting company. Two of the tyres were still on the wheels obviously not inflated!!!!

The 3 tyres I have stood up all week and the beads have opened up nicely. The 2 that are on the wheels have hardly moved even though they were also stood up.

I took the 2 wheels over to a friends garage, they got one inflated on the first attempt and the 2nd after several goes. I will take the other 3 next week :-)

Hi all .
Need to replace the tyres on my mk2 stag.which are
Michelin 185R14 90H MXV -P.Notice that the manual states 175 HR 14.
Would appreciate any guidance or recommendations
from your experiences/fittings.

My Stag is one of the later production (77) that came with 175HR14 (80 series) I changed to 19570HR14 Khumo. This conversion from 175HR14 is almost spot on in terms of overall diameter and rolling radius. Khumo are widely fitted to modern Hyundai and Kia cars. John
