A/c Fan replacements

I'm sure somewhere l read a post about changing the 2 old fans for modern Spal ones. Does anyone remember this to and where ?

I assume you are referring to the condenser and not the evaporator fans.
Don't remember the post unfortunately but should be able to fairly easily mount a couple of 8" Spal or Davies Craig fans. I assume 8" will fit the original factory condenser. I bought two Davies Craig 8" fans to fit my (modern) condenser. They're fairly quiet and have a nice narrow profile. Horrified when I checked the price the Spal equivalents.
Is your condenser in the vertical position?
