    Master Cylinder

DSCN2877.JPG I've been rebuilding the brake master cylinder and I'm not convinced I've got the seals the correct way round. I have put the seals in the way they were when I dismantled it, but checking with the (very poor) photos and diagrams in the manual it don't look right.
Can someone advise me what is the correct way round for the seals please.

I think they should both be on the other way round.

As Mike, points out. Here are some photos of my original one before disassembly. It seemed the PO had no clue how to repair it and you can see the scratch's. I replaced it with another one I rebuilt.

With the way the seals were installed, did the car stop?

The iron cylinder bore often needs attention too.
The seal kit is usually short lived unless the bore is restored.
