Manual Gear stick Gaiter

Hi wondering if someone could confirm the diameter of the aperture in centre console for the manual gear stick vinyl gaiter please ? Maybe someone that has there's already dismantled or a spare retainer ring for the gaiter to hand.
I'm expecting it to be approx 90mm (3.5" in old money ).

Recently purchased a replacement gaiter which appears to be wrong size and correct me if wrong, the Mk1 and Mk2 are same diameter ? So supplier has it wrong.

If I remember it’s a cone shape and you pull it down until it fits the retaining ring and trim off the excess. Same part no for all stags so no difference I guess.

BTW. there are 2 retainer rings, large one for the rubber gaiter screwed to the tunnel and smaller one for the gaiter, same size as the hole in the wooden trim panel.

It’s more a confirmation of the aperture size in the wooden trim as they appear to have made the overall diameter of cone too large so this shortens the length and likely to leave OD wires on show coming out of gearstick. 0691982F-26C0-4A60-BFED-9A47C37EA8A7.jpeg

Compared to your original is does look a bit big doesn’t it..
