iAfter a fairly long run of 80 miles mainly on motorways there was quite a lot of white smoke/Condensation (like you would get when starting up in the morning)from the exhaust as I parked .Next morning there was some water in the V of the block and some drops on the floor. Is It cylinder head / gasket problem? If yes does anyone know where to get it done by a reliable outfit who won't take weeks/months to do it ideally within a15 mile radius of Andover

Sounds like it could be inlet manifold gaskets rather than cylinder heads. Try contacting the local Coordinator for recommendations in your area. Howard Vesey lives near Blandford (Charlton Marshall). His contact number isin last month's Triumph World.

Hi, due to the slant of the engine, any leak will collect at the back of the V.
Suggest you take off the air filter box, get the engine up to temperature and you can see the inlet manifold branch thatisleaking, nip up the bolts with engine running until it stops. Its probably thebranch you cant see or get a spanner to on thedrivers side rear branch, Don't go too tight as you will strip the thread! Or It may be the water pump cover gasket, have a look for staining from that, be careful if you take off and refit gasket as they must be shimmed with sufficient gaskets to give clearance for the pump impeller to turn freely.
Whilst you are there retorque heads and then nip up all inlet manifold bolts!
Good luck
