Just had an email saying they now have choke cables in stock at Rinmers after several months without. I’m sorted now thanks to a friendly forum member, but I think a few people were on the lookout.

I have repaired & sent about 20 choke cables out in 2022.
The manufacturing sources wants orders for 1000 cables.
So have also been trying to make new parts too.
The rod & housing is unusual & quite tricky to re-create from bar, but maybe possible…. Still working on it.
If anyone can supply quotes for hi pressure die castings or investment castings (aluminium) in low volume please pm me.
I have detail drawings & 3D models for quotes but cannot even get any quotes so far.
There is a similar tr6 choke cable that seems to be available…. It’s different lengths & £168 …. Once they are gone it’ll probably be the same story.
my car doesn’t need a cable…. It’s fine!
