    Tunnel carpet

I've taken some tunnel carpet out of a parts car which is going in Stag no1. It's in good shape including the under felt however, the carpet has come unglued from the under felt. I'm thinking of placing the felt in the tunnel and then use spray glue to glue the carpet to it. The alternative is to try and glue the two together on the garage floor.
Another ideal is to ditch the felt and get some foil insulation, stick that on, and use that as the underlay and then stick on the carpet to that. Only issue is with that if it needs to come off again, it will be a pain in the back side.
    Any other recommendations welcome.

I would glue the under felt back to the carpet, lay the felt in the car where its meant to be, then spray the glue over the felt, then fit carpet on top off felt

I used some specialist High Tack carpet adhesive which could allowed repostioning several times and still remained stuck. Probably not much use to dig out the name as it was a local German product, but i'm sure such a thing is available elsewhere. For areas like the tunnel it's useful to be able to unstick and reposition a couple of times

The underlay unless glued to the carpet in the foot well area will eventually fall. I'll report back.
