dowel pins for BW35 transmission

Just had my transmission rebuilt and 6 months later the transmission had a huge leak. The rebuilder saysThe problem is I did not have the proper dowel pins to locate the transmission. Does anybody know where I can source the correct pins or at least know what size they are so I can have them made. Desperate in Virginia, Michael Fatsi

Hello Michael,
You may have to contact Tony White out of UK. He has everything. The auto uses some special dowel bolts.

I think these are the same 3/8 dowel bolts used on a TR6. can someone confirm that please

I bought some dowels for my manual Stag from a TR6. Unfortunately, they were too short. You may run into a similar issue.

How many of those special bolts are used on the auto box? And what are the locations? I may need some too. As I'm sure my Stag's been messed with.
