SU fuel pumps

I got a spare SU fuel pump. I recall by the part no. it's for a Jag/ MG. It's similar looking to the pump for the Stag. I know I can put a cheap pressure regular in line to reduce the pressure, but is there a way to adjust the pressure of the unit in some way as I'm aware the MG pump runs at higher pressure.

Azx1311. SU pump for stag and MGB. Forget the cheap pressure regulator and go big and get the malpassi! It’s much better than the cheap ones and actually works..

I bought some spark plugs from these guys in Uk, shipping was fast and reasonable and they have the malpassi.

Where is the mg pump mounted? 2 types of su pump short pull long push for rear mount, long pull short push for front mount

MG pump is mounted under the boot.

Thx. Terry. really looking if anyone knows if it can be modified. I'm assuming the electrical part is the same for all models. something in the head perhaps.

If the pump you have delivers 1.16 pints in 30 seconds & has 2.7psi fit it.
If the numbers are different, tell us what they are.
