I really need a couple of these, I have tried the new white TR version but they just wont click into place, anyone got originals, or have I not developed the KNACK..wouldnt be the first time!

contact Tony White. I have managed to fix a few with a soldering iron. the earth contact I recall is the problem. I have a YouTube video on what I did. sorry I don't have the exact link.

Imho new ones are as finicky as original ones … functionality - wise.
a separate earth can help.
have managed to tweak the outer blades to give a reliable earth…. With more success than new ones.

Not had much success with aftermarket ones. I just got a few old ones and cleaned and soldered the earth contacts and that seems to sort it.
