    Twin carb dampers

    hi folks,
is there any particular oil I should use for my carb "dampers" or is something like 3in1 oil sufficient.
    regards,

I tend to use the same oil as I put in the engine seems to work ok.

I've previously used SU Carburettor oil - SAE20, but I've come to the realisation that it is probably a little too thin. So SAE30 is what I use now (after changing the o-rings last year)

Stag ROM specifies 20W50 engine oil (which I have used for 30+ years).

I’ve been advised 3 in 1 oil is not the best, as there are dedicated oils for the pots. Penrite oils supply a suitable oil. Look up your local supplier.
