    Weber Kick-down cable route

I'm in the process of fitting a Weber and I'm a bit concerned about the Kick-down cable resting against the cylinder head - could it melt the outer sheaf? Any tips (apart from refitting the Strommies!)?

I joined another cable to the existing one and routed it round the front of the carb.

Mounting bracket looks like it's not allowing the cable anchor point to line up properly, make another to allow a good fit and then you will be able to cure the problem

If the cylinder head gets hot enough to melt the outer sheath, then you have real problems.

Thanks for the advice. The cable's not attached properly in the photo hence why it's not lined up - it was just a mock fitting. It's also a brand new cable so probably a bit stiff at the moment. Cheers guys.
