    Stoutgoose

Hi, Is Stoutgoose and his awesome Stag still about? WHAT A STAG!!! Love it!!

Not heard from him for many years, somewhere I have a photo of him rounding the right handed semicircle at Prescott on left lock.
Cant remember the power output of his 5.0 litre TVR engine. He and Saxplayer were great to watch at Prescott.

Yeah!!! That is one hell of a Stag! If I had that the first thing I would do is remove that ungainly looking luggage rack.
Wish I had the knowhow to fit an aftermarket engine, exhaust etc....would LOVE a Stag like Stoutgoose and Saxplayer.

I think that's where the parachute is mounted!

I followed Saxplayer in his Stag during a Drive it Day several years ago. My ears were hurting when we were driving through the narrow streets of the Barbican, Plymouth. Maybe ok on a track, but not for everyday use.

Exactly what is he running under the bonnet? The quad exhaust alone would not sound off too much though.

ISTR it was a 4.9l RV8 from a TVR. Happy to be corrected if anyone knows different.

The sax player sold the stag afew years ago as he thought he had taken the car as far as he could, his new venture which is Jaguar XK. The engine was a 3.9 Rover V8 and he just put new heads on it to give it bigger valves before he sold it. Nice looking car I met him at a meet at cheddar gorge where we arrived at the same time.
