Has anyone come up with an improvement to the fitting of the boot floor boards? Mine are really difficult to get in and out, especially the fuel pump side. Spin

When I used my old ones as a template about 3 x weeks ago I made the left hand side one slightly shorter in width than the original. It seem'ed to fit together a wee bit easier than the originals, but this is only my opinion -

Hi Spin,
When I first got my Stag I found the same problem. I took a handsaw to the left hand floor panel and cut it out (as in the picture) so as to get easy access to the various things kept in my spare wheel. I found it necessary to support the cut-off bit of floor at the front (as shown in the second picture). Don’t forget the finger-hole which certainly helps.
