Update Dead Stag No Spark Towed Home

Firstly thanks for all advice and help, I towed home in Neutral (auto) at around 20 mph only 1 mile
The car would not start with NO spark I walked home waited for my Son...by now it hasnt run for maybe 3 hours, still no spark on return
I change the coil nothing, I remove the triple connector (lumenition) got annoyed now, strip all 3 wires and roll them together individually still nothing
I tow it home, get up this AM starts first time...it has to be heat doesnt it?

Where is the Luminition module located ?

When it wouldnt start, was there power at the coil? Power at the Lumenition?

Have you checked for spark at the king lead or at the plugs?

If no spark at the coil output then it sounds like Lumenition unit has failed.

My neighbor recently had a similar problem with his Lumenition, in his stag ,after several hours of testing the unit , he found the optical lens in the distributor had failed, just something to suspect

Rolled all 3 wires together? … which ones?
for luminition, the best connector is a 3 pin supaseal… about £2 from eBay.
but you need a proper crimp tool £12-20
