I'm swapping out my quarter light as the pin at the bottom has broken. Can I remove the entire frame without removing the inner felt strip and the weather strip? I'd prefer not to disturb it.

Thanks. I'll order the rubber part before I tackle the job. Just wondering if another Triumph model uses the same rubber, then I could order from TRF or Moss

Sorry not the quarter light rubber. I have a set of NOS quarter light rubber which I got about 15 years back. I'm after the weather strip. Part no. 622415. From Rimmers site it seems this is unique to the Stag, but I'm wondering if another Triumph used a similar profile strip which say needs cutting down to size. I was a swap meet and found some outer felt strips from a Jag which look similar to that used on a Stag, they are slightly longer.
ahh Yes,
The inside one is the same profile as the tr6, you can cut them down to fit the Stag the outside one is different but you can buy the rubber insert IIRC..
your need to remove the inner felt strip and the outer seal, the pin on the quarter light can be repaired, I've used pop rivets but your need to hammer the end of the rivet to flatten it be able to get the glass back in the frame
The ROM, says you can remove the install the quarter light back in without removing the glass and frame, but I found that the quarter light rubber is too hard, due to age, to get the pin in enough. Did anyone else have this issue? In any case, my door is stripped. The chrome frame on my broken quarter light is much better than the one I got from Tony White. I'm now thinking of revisiting this to repair the broken pin on the frame
