    stag T bar

Hi guys, this may seem a little simple, but how do you
remove the T bar. I need to fit a new cover and foam.
I have removed the main 2 bolts either side and the central screw under at front plus removed all the screws holding the chrome plate running across top of windscreen .Still can’t get the T bar to move.
just to add the Chrome plate also doesn’t move even with screws removed as seems to be stuck down with sealant.

There are T Bar screws under the chrome plate.

I've read somewhere on this site that refitting the T bar can be difficult because the holes don't line up. I think the poster of that message finally achieved it by jacking up one corner of the car and putting a slight twist into the body. So beware the T bar pinging out when you finally remove all the bolts.

Found it - see this thread:

Hi Guys, I tried searching for T bar and message comes up 'Too Restrictive' and when I add 'Fitting' that's all it finds. Anyhow, I am refitting the T bar after a respray, I have got the bolt and 4 small screws located, at the front end, but I can't get the bolts to line up with the threads in the top of the B post.
