    Help with Cubby panel

    Hi all,
I need to remove the rear cubby panel for some repairs, anyone got any hints before I start and make a bad thing worse please?

    Remove seat squab.
Remove 2 bracket screws at the floor
    Open tonneau.
Remove 5/6 trim clips from vinyl on top rail.
    Remove cubby.

Believe this is all in the ROM.

ROM 76.13.03 has all the information, but you also need to remove the rear seat.

Use a spike tool to align the cubby panel screw hole to bracket hole / spire clip. ( the brackets often swivel out of position though)

Tap the cubby into position near the hard top locking plate.

Pull the vinyl taught a over the tonneau rail and fit the clips.

Do use the ROM to help though. Compared to many manuals it’s excellent.

Repair Operations Manual. Later soft cover ones can be purchased online. The earlier version was loose leaf in a brown cover and can sometimes be found online. Otherwise download one here: http://www.grampianstags.net/Stag%20...n%20Manual.pdf

Haynes workshop manual is also a useful alternative.
