This group is for anyone who appreciates modified or custom Triumph Stags. It is designed to show off cars that are a little different to the norm, swap ideas and get to know like minded people! Enjoy...
Working for me. As some will know there has been an issue with posting about modified stags on the stag fan club site. This has been a real shame, and I think has led to this split. However it seems like one of the antimod people has move on from the main site which may calm things down a tad.

The new Facebook page I think was partly to get round disruptive people on the stag fan FB page who had zero tolerance on modifications. Was sad about this really because other triumph communities co-exist rather than factionalise
Ah ok I didn’t know that. Steve also liked LPG. Hence his name here.
Have annoyingly forgotten his surname Of course ‘Sparrow’
I was lucky enough to be able to buy and rescue one of Steve's Stags after he passed away. The engine was out and in the process of being rebuilt, which I have now completed. He had already converted and run this car on LPG, but I wanted it back running on petrol again, which took quite a bit of careful work.to do safely.
A nice surprise was to find that he had also converted the auto box to a Jag ZF 4-speed, which I really like. All in all its in really nice condition.

I went on an installer training course for LPG.
Imho the only item worthy was the tank.
Although it usually takes up some valuable space it’s engineered.
However, the other items offered were junk.
They will become unreliable in a short time.
Electrically they were worse than anything Lucas ever made.
As for splicing into an injection loom or O2 sensor harness , forget it …. Unreliablility being added to your car…. There, I’ve said it!!!
The firm did offer some bespoke looms that had slightly better insulation, but most of it was ready to stop working after a year or so…. Non automotive connectors everywhere.
It's every bit as good as they say it is. So different in character to my MOD Stag. But unfortunately I can't keep them both, and now I have to choose which one has to go!
