Restoration advice

Hi,i'm midway on my stag restoration and just looking for advice/thought's on the following:-
1,Wiper spindle nuts are siezed solid to the point where anymore pressure would break something,bit strange!!!
2,my wood veneer has small age cracking and a few marks so it's splash out and get them re veneered or are these "stick on veneers" any good??

the spindle nuts are an alloy IIRC and the spindles are steel. chances are that they are fused together through corrosion.

Careful use of a dremel will get the remains of the nut off the spindle

Stick on dash, look ok on installation. 5 years down the line they dont look so beautiful, corners lifted, crazed and cracked. customers car now looks far worse than the oe veneer would have done

I had one off Steve a couple years ago. First class job, nicely finished and well matched grain. Came with exdellent instructions as well.
